Fifth class by teacher Karla and Abigail.

Topic: Transportation.

Students were asked to get in groups according with the color of the pipe cleaner that students had already shosen. Then, the students in pairs had to form a puzzle about main of transportations.
NOTE: I really like the activity to choose the pairs with the pipe cleaners.

In the presentation stage, six flashcards with vocabulary: bus, train, balloon, car, plane, truck and helicopter were pasted in the board. Also the question "How do you get to school?". The teachers explained the meaning and the  pronunciation of each main of transportation.

Then, students were asked to stand up and make two lines to play the dynamic "The broken phone". The first student had to pick a paper with the name of a main of transportation and had to pass the information to the next student and the las person who received the message, had to write  in the board the answer. The team that finished first got a point.
NOTE: this dynamic was great because all the students could participate.

Moreover, students made group of three and they were given flashcards with the main of transportation. One student had to ask the other the question "How do you get to school?", and the other student had to choose a flashcard and had to answer according to the image.

NOTE: I enjoyed this activity because it was creative.


In the wrap-up stage, teachers gave to the students a worksheet where they had fill in the blanks. At the end the answer were checked by the teacher and the whole group.




Fourth Class by teacher Georgina and teacher Yesmin.

Topic: Cars will fly.

As a warm-up teacher Georgina  asked students to stand up and make two groups. Also, teacher Georgina said colors related to fruits or objects and students had to say a word that matched with the description, if the flashcard that the teacher had was the same, the team who guess got a point.
NOTE: in this dynamic all students were paying attention because it was very interesting and funny.

Furthermore, teacher Yesmin pasted in the board six flashcards in the board about: Discover, live, teach, work, play and enjoy. The teacher Yesmin asked to the students if they knew the meaning of this vocabulary and if they didn't know he explained the meaning.


Students were presented by listen to an audio and with a worksheet in which students had to listen carefully to then write the correct answer.
NOTE:  the listening section was good because the teachers were all the time monitoring the students.
In post listening stage, students were given flashcards with images of the previous vocabulary, then students were given another flashcards only with the spelling of each picture and they had to match them.

NOTE: This matching game is useful to review the vocabulary that had been tought.

To finish the class teacher Georgina and Yesmin passed a small box with pictures to students when the music stopped the student who had the box, had to take an image and say the corresponding name.
NOTE: I think that students really enjoyed this activity because they were excited with the game.


Third class by teacher Nahomi and teacher Karla.

Topic: Sports.

To start the class teacher nahomi and teacher karla pasted in the board a chart with the "Bingo song". At the first time students were able to read the lirycs, but then studens had to do it by themselves 

NOTE: I think that any activity with cheerful songs are great for children because they love to sing and dance.

In the presentation stage teacher karla asked to the students to get in groups of three to then pass in front of the class to match the pictures previously pasted with their corresponding spelling.

NOTE: the materials that Teachers Karla and Nahomi presented were very colorful and well elaborated.

Moreover, teacher Nahomi gave to the students pieces of paper with letters. Then, students were asked to get in pairs and they had to form the correct spelling of the sport that the teacher had said before, the team that finished first, got a point.
NOTE: I think that this game is great to practice spelling

To finish the class teacher Karla asked to the students to stand up and to make a circle to then play the dynamic "hot potatoe". When the teacher stoped to count, the student who had the ball had to pass to writte the spelling of the sport picture.


Second Class by teacher Geovany and teacher Hazel.

Topic: Let's have a party!

In warm-up teacher Hazel gave to the students a birthday hat, then students had to decorate the hat as they wanted.

Then teacher Geovany presented the vocabulary with flashcards of the party objects with their vocabulary. While teacher Geovany was pasting the flashcards, he was asking to the students if they knew the name of some of the party objects and if the students didn't know he explained the meaning and the name.
NOTE: the flashcards were very colorful and atractive.
In the "During" stage teacher Hazel pasted in the board a chart with a conversation using the previous vocabulary. Furthermore, students were asked to stand up and get in pairs to read and practice the conversation in three ways: angry >:( , sad :( and happy =D .
NOTE: I really enjoyed this activity because it was funny, but at the same time we practiced the vocabulary.

Moreover, teacher Geovany gave as a worksheet in which we had to listen to an audio and to complete the questions. At the first time we listened the audio just to get familiar with the vocabulary and at the second time we answer the questions.

NOTE: when we finished this activity teacher Geovany check the answers with the whole group.

To finish the class teachers Hazel and Geovany made the activity called "Flypaper". Students were asked to made two lines, while in the board were pasted images of the party objects and when the teacher says the name of an object, the students had to run quickly to touch the correct picture.
NOTE: the "Flypaper" dynamic was awesome to review the vocabulary.

First class by teacher Fatima and teacher Vanesa.

Topic: The Colors

The topic of this class was "The Colors", teacher Vanesa and Fatima presented eight colors: black, orange, pink, red, blue, purple, green and yellow, and the question "What color is it?". To present this lesson teachers used materials like: balloons of colors, flashcards with colors, worksheets and others.

To start the class teacher Vanesa made a dynamic called "Find the color"  as a warm-up in which students had to pick a piece of  paper with an specific color and students had to find an object with the same color, if the students find the right color and object, they got a point.


Then, for presentation teacher Fatima presented to the student the eight colors and the question "What color is it?", with their spelling.
NOTE: teacher Fatima used many items to represent the colors and their spelling.
In the practice stage students were given pieces of papers where they had to write the spelling of the color pasted in the board. Students were asked to get in pair, and the pair that finish first got a point.

NOTE: students worked in pairs to help each other. Also, this activity is useful to practice spelling.

Teacher Fatima gave students a worksheet in which eight drawings of the eight color were presented, students have to write the correct spelling next to the item.

NOTE: at the end of this activity teacher fatima compared the answers with the whole group to check the correct answers.

For wrap-up activity, eight balloons of the colors were pasted in the board. Teacher Vanesa asked to the students to make two lines and students have to write the corresponding spelling of the colors in the board. The team that finished first got a point.
Note: I think that this kind of activities are appropiate for children because they enjoy competitions.
